Water Tank and Rainwater Harvesting Clients
Southern Tank Services Ltd. Have supplied and installed water tank and water storage solutions for many clients both commercial and domestic including agriculture installations.
Most of our domestic clients are looking to store and use rainwater, so we supply an above ground water tank and couple this up to an automatic pressure regulated booster pump to allow the harvested rainwater to be used as mains water with a hose for car cleaning, pressure washer use, watering the garden and general irrigation.
Our agriculture clients have two main requirements: To provide a bulk water storage tank for filling of agriculture equipment such as sprayers and also for general wash down use where mains water will not provide the required pressure or flow rate.
Industrial and commercial use varies according to the application, but previous clients have had water tanks and water pumps for laundrettes, food production, temporary building and welfare facilities such as portable cabins and site building.
We’ve supplied water bowsers with different pumps for a variety of uses including water bowsers with plant watering equipment to local councils, contractors and landscape companies. Water bowsers with chassis mounted petrol and diesel pressure washers for cleaning tasks, again to local councils, construction industry, vehicle cleaning, agricultural and equine clients. We have also equipped our water bowsers with on-demand pumps for cabins and mobile buildings and used water bowsers for grey and waste water. Drinking water bowsers are Reg. 31 approved and used to supply drinking water to remote locations for on site catering such as filming locations, festivals and events.

The Project Manager from a high profile company approached Southern Tank Services Ltd. With a specific requirement for a water tank to store 45000 litres of water to serve as an on-site emergency fire fighting supply.
The water tank needed to be installed within a specific area with dimensional constraints, so Southern Tank Services proposed a fibreglass water tank pre-insulated with 50mm of hard foam built in to the water and tank lid with specific fire fighting connections at the outlet. This met with the needs of the on-site fire-fighting department and was delivered to site and craned into place ready to commission.
